Wandmaker was an All-District performer as a junior for Andover, but really made a splash during the offseason. He twice ran sub 4.2 pro agility shuttles, once at NFN’s 2015 Winter Combine, and also improved his 40-yard dash time from that event (4.9 electronic to 4.53 hand timed).
He continued making strides into his senior season, which ended with another state tournament berth for the Huskies. The 6-foot-4 receiver/defensive back caught 40 passes for 476 yards and 3 touchdowns, while also posting 74 tackles, four interceptions and four pass breakups.
He was named All-West Metro District for the second straight season. Wandmaker’s performance moved him near the Top 50 in the Class of 2017 prospect rankings and last month, he committed to South Dakota State on a scholarship as a receiver.
