Last season went very well for myself individually I had career high in catches with 38 and yards with 583. Team wise we fell eight points short of our goal being a state tourney birth. The highlight from last season would have to be our 20 point fourth quarter comeback win against Fergus Falls in the section semifinals. I also happened to have my best game of the season that game finishing with five catches for 131 yards.”
Being bigger, faster and stronger as a senior were on the priority list for Prokosch this past summer.
“I have been working in the weight room working on getting stronger for the season mainly for playing defense which my coach told me I will be playing a lot more next season,” Prokosch explained to Northstar Football. “I also have been working on getting faster this off-season to help me beat corners and safeties more consistently and also to be more appealing for the next level. Next season individually I hope to have the best statistical season of my high school career. I have set goals of 50+ catches and 600+ yards with five plus touchdowns. As a team we are really striving for a state tourney birth. So far I have been really impressed on how hard the guys have worked this off-season. I know all of us want to achieve that goal not only for ourselves but for the community also.”
