The most intriguing early-season game on the slate will take place Friday night at Eden Prairie when Lakeville North travels to play the Eagles.

The Panthers opened the season with a 62-0 commanding victory over Burnsville, thanks to an opportunistic defense returning two interceptions for scores, and an elite running game behind Bryce Benhart and Nathan Boe.

Eden Prairie opened its season last week with a 35-7 victory over Eastview, but this game should be a lot tougher. 2019 quarterback Cole Kramer is going to have his hands full, and the Eagles will also rely heavily upon Benny Sapp III on both sides of the ball. -- Ryan Burns (@RyanBurnsMN), NFN Recruiting Analyst
