NFN Week 3 Featured Games
Two of the best teams in Class 6A are set to square off when Champlin Park travels to St. Michael-Albertville. The Rebels (2-0) seem to have successfully overcome the loss of junior quarterback Bennett Otto. Running back Ernest Worjloh has starred for the Rebels in their first two games, while the Champlin Park defense, led by Thomas Zinnah, among others, has shut down its first two opponents of the season.
St. Michael-Albertville, one of the newest teams in Class 6A after moving up from Class AAAAAA prior to the season, also sports a 2-0 record after topping Mounds View in week one and Blaine in week two. The STMA running game, led by Mitchell Kartes and DeSean Phillips, has averaged over 300 yards per game, which should put pressure on the Rebel defense. — Chris Chesky (@SunSportsChris), NFN Staff Writer
