Owatonna has always been a solid football program in the state of Minnesota, winning three Prep Bowl titles in the past six years including back-to-back years in the ’17 and ’18 seasons. However the Huskies lost the Gatorade Player of the Year in Jason Williamson to the Gophers who was a focal point of their offense for three seasons they might be hurting next season but with a stellar defense as always only giving up 13 points to opposing defenses, they will still be fighting for another Prep Bowl in 2019. Caledonia showed for the fourth year straight that they are the best in Double A, with the longest national winning in high school football at 54 straight games the Warriors look to extend their streak to five straight perfect seasons. Mahnomen/Waubun won their first Class A Prep Bowl as a co-op in 2018.
