If you want a play-making wide receiver that doesn’t take breaks or plays off, you have Luke DeWulf. He was named all-district and all-state honorable mention this year and always brings his A game at Nevis. When we asked about his biggest strength on the field he stated” I’m not afraid to go up against anyone on the field of play” which I think not only is a great strength, but literally he has the strength to not care about the size of the defense he goes up against.
Favorites for DeWulf at Receiver/Safety
Going back to the play-maker take on DeWulf, Luke also told us that if you want to make plays for your team? You play receiver or the safety position on defense.
College Interest
DeWulf currently holds two football offers on the table. Those have come from Minnesota-Moorhead and Minnesota-Crookston both over the summer. Will he get more offers as his season plays on from the nearby Beavers and others? We’ll have to find out.
Improvements Made by DeWulf This Season
Across the board, DeWulf has made great contributions in every category in his game, one being in the weight room. “I’m in the weight room 4 times a week” DeWulf told NFN. He also spent the bulk of his summer doing football camps and doing on the field work as well.
Individual Goals/Team Goals for DeWulf
A very team oriented DeWulf, told NFN that his goals are very similar to many others in Minnesota high school football. “Get back to state and compete as one of the best teams in the state!” DeWulf told Northstar Football News for his final quote of the day.
DeWulf is currently the leading receiver and tackler on this Nevis Tigers team thus far. Nevis (3-2) will play at home this week against Park Christian (3-2) at 7:00 PM on Friday.
