This sixth edition of Northstar Football News' featured series will examine and highlight the former Minnesota prep football stars selected to the Second Team All-Conference Offense list of the North division of one of the toughest conferences in Division II football: the NSIC. These four athletes were some of the best players coming out of high school as MN preps and have more than successfully made the jump to college athletics, where they have shone under the lights from Mankato State to Southwest Minnesota State in Marshall. WR: Justin Arnold (6’0, 200 lbs.) Sr. Chaska, Minn. Chaska HS. Minnesota State University-Mankato

A three-year starter at QB for the Chaska Hawks, Arnold was a 3x All-Conference selection, a 2x team MVP, and a 2x conference champ. As a sophomore in high school he threw for 477 yards and a TD while rushing for 984 yards and 12 TDs. As a junior Hawk he threw for 1,519 yards and 19 TDs to go along with 1,123 rushing yards and
