After their state championship game appearance last fall in 2019 the Minneapolis North Polars cemented themselves as a Class AA powerhouse in only their third season as a 2A competitor after bumping up from Class A after the 2016 season. They have also proved themselves as one of Minneapolis’ stronger football recruiting hotbeds over the last decade and are now moving into the realm of one of the strongest in the entire state as this 2021 graduating class become seniors. With over 40+ Division 1 offers and 50+ scholarship/roster offers in their 2021 class the school of around 450 holds the #1 spot in the state for most total offers (I’m pretty sure, possibly one of the Lakeville’s) over 6A big-schools like Wayzata (enrollment ~ 3,300), Rosemount (~2,300), and Eden Prairie (~2,900). Check out this tenth edition of PrepRedzone’s "MN Recruiting Hotbeds" where we will stay close to home in Minneapolis and take a deeper dive into the MPLS North Polars 2021 recruiting class. While the Polars did graduate some studs this spring this upcoming class is no joke, and they have the best shot of anyone at upsetting Caledonia’s historic state title streak. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy!
