D1, Three Sport, Oregon Dual Threat ATH Trent Walker
Over the years Beaverton High School has produced some of Oregon’s top overall athletes. This year looks to be no different, with the state’s top ranked dual threat athlete Trent Walker Trent Walker 6'3" | 190 lbs | WR Beaverton | 2021 State OR (6-3 190 WR/S 21’) leading the way.
Covering the last two seasons Walker has dominated Metro league competition, accounting for 2,360 all-purpose yards (1,770 receiving) and 23 TDs offensively. His 79 total tackles and 4 interceptions speak to his overall versatility.
He was the only underclassmen to earn 1st team all-league honors on both sides of the football, also racking up all state accolades on O (2nd Team) & D (Honorable Mention).
All of this said as Walker excels in multiple sports. Give him the time to focus solely on football and the sky’s the limit. Air Force, Army, San Diego and Valparaiso took notice over the last few months offering him a scholarship.
Speaking on his goals for this upcoming season and the future Trent says, “Our team goal is always to be competing for a Metro championship and to ultimately make a deep run in the playoffs. Personally I want to be the best football player possible and compete for first team all-state and offensive POY accolades.”
He continued, “In the future I want to play college football for a winning program and better myself physically and mentally. Football is now my primary focus but I will continue with all three sports through high school.”
Walker is rangy and grew 2 more inches over the off season, between his Sophomore and Junior year, now standing 6-3. His combination of size and athletic ability makes him a very appealing recruit. Beaverton graduates an outstanding senior group (Mckenna, Budke, Davidson) so Walker will have to take on an unprecedented load to help his team. Something he hasn’t had to do before.
