Peter Delaportas Peter Delaportas 6'4" | QB Pope John XXIII | 2022 State NJ | Pope John XXIII
Delaportas will enter the season as the top quarterback in the Class of 2022 and one of the five best players overall. He already has big name offers from Penn State, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, and many more. At 6’4, Delaportas has the size to continue to dominate in high school and at the next level. He is a pro style quarterback that uses his arm strength to throw darts from the pocket.
Steven Angeli Steven Angeli 6'3" | QB Bergen Catholic | 2022 State NJ | Bergen Catholic
Angeli is one of the most recruited players in the class. He already has picked up offers from the likes of LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, and nine other schools. He is a 6’3 pro style quarterback that plays for one of the biggest powerhouses in the state. Angeli will have two years to showcase himself even more.
Donovan Leary Donovan Leary 6'2" | QB Timber Creek | 2022 State NJ | Timber Creek
When watching Timber Creek play, Leary stands out immediately. the 6’2 quarterback with a huge arm put up some big time numbers as a sophomore. He threw for 300 or more yards three times. In the second game of the season, Leary threw for 347 yards and six touchdowns. He finished the season with 2,746 yards and 26 touchdowns compared to just four interceptions. It is no wonder why he has 11 offers already.
Devin Kargman Devin Kargman 6'2" | QB Woodrow Wilson | 2022 State NJ | Woodrow Wilson
In a season opening win over Camden Catholic, Kargman threw for 339 yards and six touchdowns. He followed that up with 443 yards and four touchdowns the very next week. Kargman threw for 300 yards six times and had less than four touchdowns in just four games. In the end, Kargman racked up 3,750 yards for 44 touchdowns and nine interceptions. As a freshman, Kargman received an offer from Rutgers and the list has grown plenty since then.
Devion Sheppard Devion Sheppard 6'3" | QB West Side | 2022 State NJ | West Side
Sheppard completed 70% of his passes as a sophomore. He is a quarterback with a big arm that can squeeze the ball into many tight windows. His accuracy is uncommon of a sophomore. Sheppard threw 23 touchdowns as a sophomore and that number will grow entering his upperclassman years.
