OL/DL Cayden Winter Cayden Winter 6'0" | 220 lbs | OL Andale | 2021 State KS 6’2 220
Cayden Winter Cayden Winter 6'0" | 220 lbs | OL Andale | 2021 State KS is ranked at #20 for Offensive Linemen and #114 overall. He plays as a LG on offense and a DT/NT on defense. On offense, he fires off the ball, wins battles with his hands inside and uses his play strength in his upper and lower body to drive DL off the ball. Shows the tenacity to dominate and finish blocks to the ground. Keeps his feet moving in pass pro, plays at a good pad level and does not get driven back into the QB. On defense, he shows good burst putting a lot of pressure on the OL in his 1st 3 steps. Effectively uses his hands to shed blocks Displays a very good motor as he plays until the whistle and is able to pressure the QB.
LB/TE Caden Parthemer Caden Parthemer 6'1" | 180 lbs | LB Andale | 2021 State KS 6’1 165
Caden Parthemer Caden Parthemer 6'1" | 180 lbs | LB Andale | 2021 State KS is ranked at #21 for Linebackers and #120 overall. He plays as an OLB on defense and a primarily blocking TE on offense. As a LB, he is very alert and uses his instincts and football intelligence to quickly diagnose the play. Against the run, he plays at a good pad level and delivers a powerful hit to the RB and uses his play strength to bring down bigger players with force. He shows good ability to locate the ball in the air, close on the ball and time his hands to come up with the pass breakup. As a TE, he is a tenacious blocker as he consistently wins the leverage battle and drives his man off the ball. He also shows good physical toughness in his ability to pancake LB. In instances where he is asked to go out for a pass, he uses his quickness to get behind LB on crossing routes. Shows good hands as he shows the ability to make on target catches with his hands.
RB/KR Eli Rowland 5’10 160 40-4.7
Eli Rowland is a RB who is currently unranked but will be a major contributor for the team in 2020. He makes good decisions on zone runs, shows good burst through the hole and uses his agility to make quick moves in order to juke out defenders. Shows good power and contact balance as he is able to break tackles and keep his balance once initial contact is made. On kick returns, he uses his quickness to elude defenders.
QB Noah Meyer 5’8 165 40-4.56
Noah Meyer is an unranked QB but is the leader of the offense and has a state championship under his belt. As a passer, he drops back quickly, is able to scan the entire field and can deliver the ball into tight windows on short, intermediate and deep passers. He is a good athlete who shows the ability and heart to run over larger defenders and possesses good balance to break tackles which allows him to play bigger than his size.
DE Elijah Aouad 6’0 170
Elijah Aouad is an unranked DE who possesses the talent to be a game changer on defense. He is quick off the ball and uses his play speed to beat OL. A smart player as he quickly uses his instincts as well as his closing speed and motor to quickly get to the ball and uses his play strength to bring down ball carriers both RB and QB with force.
