Burlington County has some big time football in New Jersey. Recently, two of the top prospects in the county have announced their college decisions. Running back Demie SumoDemieSumo6'0" | RBWillingboro | 2021StateNJ of Willingboro and Shawnee defensive lineman Mike JarvisMikeJarvis6'5" | DLShawnee | 2021StateNJ will be heading to some strong programs at the next level.

Let’s begin with Sumo. He scored nine touchdowns as a junior for Willingboro. He was a sought after prospect that was being contacted by many schools. In the end, he chose a program that has ties to New Jersey. N.C. State will be Sumo’s home after his career ends at Willingboro. He is a versatile back that can carry the ball or be used as a receiver out of the backfield. This fits right into N.C. State’s game plan.

“I really like the versatility and how they will use my talent,” Sumo told 247Sports. “I like how they flex out the running back and they run something similar to what we are running in high school, but even if it was not, I can adapt to it. I can do whatever they need me to do. I can adapt.”
