As we move closer and closer to the start of the football season, it is important that we highlight as many players as possible.

With that said, we are going to take a look at the top skill position players from as many districts as possible in the state before fall camps begin.

Some of these players are already receiving college interest, while others are looking to catch the eye of that right coach.

Trey King, Jr. - Burlington

One-half of a two-headed monster at running back for Burlington is Class of 2021's Trey King, Jr.

Last year, King ran for 493 yards on 123 carries, scoring four touchdowns. His teammate, Class of 2022's Bryant Williams, added 561 and eight scores.

The pair should be tough to stop this season again. King also hauled in seven passes and had 18 tackles on defense while averaging over 34 yards per kickoff return.

Will Larson - Fort Madison

Handling the quarterback duties for Fort Madison once again this fall will be Will Larson.

As a junior, Larson completed 107 of 227 attempts for 1,162 yards with 10 touchdowns. He averaged almost 11 yards per completion and carried a 90 rating.
