A few weeks ago, we broke down the top defenders in the 2022 class, both on the defensive line and in the back seven. This week, we begin our look at the other side of the ball. The 2022 class has several skill players that have already made an impact for their varsity teams. Here are a few of the best from across the state.

Knotts burst onto the scene two years ago with a massive freshman season, starting on both offense and defense and racking up over 750 receiving yards. Knotts projects as an elite offensive player at any of the three main receiver positions. He excels both when the ball is in the air and after the catch, a combination that leads to a lot of big plays. A standout on the basketball court as well, Knotts’ athleticism has led to a lot of attention from major college programs.
