The McKay Royal Scots bring back one of the top defensive lines in the state of Oregon. The 2021 group of Coburn, Salto, Solis and the Perez twins had an extremely productive junior defensive campaign with Coburn and G. Perez earning all conference honors. All 5 players also play offense leading the OL while Coburn and Salto man the TE spots. The McKay program continues to rise with 2nd year HC Brandis Piper leading the Royal Scots into the 2020 season.

6-4, 230 Brian Coburn (McKay HS) – All-League

Note: Will be a 2-way, 3 year starter for McKay at the end of his career.   Led 5A in sacks as a junior.  Legit collegiate prospect. 4.0 student with an absolute motor. 3 sport varsity athlete for the Royal Scots.

6-1, 225 Ramiro Solis (McKay HS)

6-3, 230 Alexis Salto (McKay HS)

2019 Stats: 30 Tackles, 1 FF
Note:  One of the best overall athletes in the state of Oregon.  Will make a huge contribution on offense with his pass catching ability.  Outstanding tackler off the edge and in the middle.
