Bryce Archie Bryce Archie 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB McEachern | 2022 State GA , Quarterback, 6’3”, 190 pounds, McEachern High School
Archie is a multi-sport athlete. It shows on his film. It’s also why I think Archie has an opportunity to improve on his ranking over the next year.
Archie moves around with his eyes down the field. He has some creativity in his game already. Once he gets a little stronger and more experienced, the sky could be the limit for Archie.
Tyler Hughes Tyler Hughes 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Marietta | 2022 State GA , Quarterback, 6’1”, 195 pounds, Marietta High School
Hughes has sat and watched Harrison Bailey for the last two years. It’s his turn to pilot one of the state’s premier offenses. Hughes has made a name for himself on the camp circuit.
In 2020 he could be a household name with his play on Friday nights. In his back-up snaps last season, Hughes showed a live arm.
Hughes has a quick and accurate release. He has good feet in the pocket. Hughes has the tools and now he just needs the tape and the moments in the big games to start to climb onto the recruiting radar.
Avery Smith Avery Smith QB Riverwood | 2022 State GA , Quarterback, Riverwood High School
Smith is a gamer. He doesn’t seem very big or physically imposing. Smith controls the huddle. He can move and he can make all the throws necessary.
The main thing that stands out is Smith’s flair for the dramatic. Smith made some big throws in big games and never seemed phased even as a junior. He’s calm in the pocket and breaks out only when actually pressured.
He scrambles to throw, but he can hurt the defense as a runner. Smith isn’t afraid to throw the deep ball and stand in and take the hit. He could be a player worth giving a shot no matter the measurables because of ticker and enact ability to rise as the moment does.
