The 10 Best 2021 Offensive Lineman Without Any Offers
As players prepare for the 2020 season, several high-level players have yet to receive much recruiting interest. These are the best offensive lineman in the 2021 class without a college offer at any level.
Anthony Grandberry Anthony Grandberry 6'3" | 260 lbs | OL Farmington | 2021 State MI | 6’3″, 260 | Farmington
Grandberry has the size, length and athleticism to play at the next level. He is an smooth mover that makes easy climbs to the second level in order to seal off linebackers. He will need to get stronger and add bulk, but he has the frame and athleticism that college coaches look for at the position, so it is surprising that he hasn’t received any interest to this point.
Elijah Reilly Elijah Reilly 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Detroit King | 2021 State MI | 6’3″, 290 | Detroit King
Entering his senior season, Reilly already has college level size and can play either guard or center. He does a good job of using his strength and power to generate movement up front and open holes for his running backs. Reilly plays for a big time program in Detroit King and should get plenty of exposure to college coaches this season.
Gavin Wisniewski Gavin Wisniewski 6'3" | 260 lbs | OL Hartland | 2021 State MI | 6’3″, 260 | Hartland
Wisniewski plays center for the Eagles, but I think he has the ability to play guard at the next level as well. He will need to get stronger and add weight to his frame, but he shows nastiness as a run blocker and has enough athleticism to pull and block in space. Wisniewski is a player that should see his recruitment pick up with more exposure.
Sam Frens Sam Frens 6'6" | 290 lbs | OL Hamilton | 2021 State MI | 6’6″, 290 | Hamilton
Frens is another player with college level size and he uses that size to dominate players in his league. He primarily plays guard, but he could be a better fit at tackle. No matter which position he is asked to play, Frens is a collegiate talent that should be getting way more recruitment than he has so far.
Billy Collins Billy Collins 6'6" | 270 lbs | OL Lamphere | 2021 State MI | 6’6″, 270 | Lamphere
Collins is a solid athlete for the position and has experience at both tackle spots. He shows the ability to mirror rushers on the edge and has the size and strength to generate movement in the run game. I’m surprised a player with Collins’ tools hasn’t picked up an offer yet, but that should change this season.
Will Felts Will Felts 6'3" | 285 lbs | OL Clinton | 2021 State MI | 6’3″, 285 | Clinton
Felts will likely move inside at the next level, but he is a powerful player that has no trouble generating movement up front. He shows nastiness in his play and looks to take his opponent to the ground on every rep. Felts has the talent to play at the collegiate level and should pick up some offers this season.
Alexander Lanzon Alexander Lanzon 6'3" | 265 lbs | OL Chippewa Valley | 2021 State MI | 6’3″, 265 | Chippewa Valley
Lanzon plays guard at Chippewa Valley and has the frame college coaches want. He does a good job of running his feet on contact in order to generate movement and is not afraid to take blocks to the ground. I’m really surprised Lanzon hasn’t received any interest so far, but his recruitment should pick up in the fall.
Jackson Tague Jackson Tague 6'3" | 305 lbs | OL Caledonia | 2021 MI | 6’3″, 305 | Caledonia
Tague already has college size at the center position and he may have the versatility to play guard as well. He is a good run blocker that can open holes for his running backs, but he is also a solid pass blocker. Tague will be a player to watch this upcoming season.
Jai’Lun Hampton Jai’Lun Hampton 6'6" | 250 lbs | OL North Farmington | 2021 State MI | 6’6″, 250 | North Farmington
Hampton has a long, high-cut build and flashes intriguing skills as both a run and pass blocker. He needs to get stronger and fill out his frame, but he has the athletic tools coaches want at the left tackle position. Hampton has a ton of potential and is a player that needs to be monitored by college recruiters this season.
Eric Mendez Eric Mendez 6'4" | 310 lbs | OL Northview | 2021 MI | 6’4″, 310 | Northview
Mendez is another player with college ready size. He shows good hand placement and does a good job of driving his feet on contact to generate movement up front. Mendez plays left tackle for Northview, but I think he could make the switch over to guard and become a very good player.
