Tommy Doman | 6’3″, 170 | Orchard Lake St. Mary’s
A Michigan commit, Doman is the clear cut top specialist in the entire state. He has a big leg and can generate plenty of hang-time to allow his coverage unit to get down the field. Doman should immediately compete for Michigan’s starting punter job once he gets to campus next year.
Stephen Rusnak | 6’0″, 150 | Clarkston
Rusnak serves as both the kicker and punter for Clarkston and could play either position at the next level. The lefty didn’t show a huge leg on tape, but he is accurate and can put the ball where he wants to on punts. He doesn’t appear to have any offers right now, but that should change this season.
Carson Voss | 6’1″, 170 | Dansville
Voss is not only a talented punter, but he is a great track athlete as well. On the football field, he needs to generate more hang-time, but he shows the ability to flip the field for his team. He holds offers from Lawrence Tech and Valparaiso and a track offer from Spring Arbor, but that list should grow as the recruiting process goes on.
Ethan Schumaker | 6’3″, 215 | Harbor Springs
Schumaker is a big punter with a powerful leg. He has shown that he can generate the hang-time to allow his coverage unit to get downfield. He is definitely a collegiate level talent that should be getting more interest.
Teagan Lenderink | 6’1″, 170 | Rockford
Lenderink is a talented player, which makes his lack of recruiting interest puzzling. He shows his strong leg in his ability to consistently put the ball in the end zone on kickoffs and he has the leg and accuracy to make key field goals for his team. Lenderink is a player that I expect to see much more recruiting interest this season.
