Troy Franklin Troy Franklin 6'2" | 175 lbs | WR Menlo-Atherton | 2021 State CA , WR, 6’2 175 lbs., Menlo-Atherton HS
Prep Redzone’s #1 WR in the state and the #2 player overall is one of the top recruits in the country. He recently committed to Oregon over 23 other top programs across the nation. Franklin has exceptional natural talent and ability with great length and speed. Extremely quick off the ball and is a very creative route runner that keeps DB’s guessing. Love the way he changes tempo throughout his routes/releases to create separation. Elite level balls skills with a great ability to adjust to the ball in the air allowing him to make difficult catches in traffic and down the field. The five-star recruit has all the tools to be an impact player at the Power 5 level and eventually on Sundays.
Jermaine Terry Jermaine Terry 6'4" | 245 lbs | TE Kennedy - Richmond | 2021 State CA , TE, 6’4 245 lbs., Kennedy-Richmond HS
The size, frame, and versatility college coaches are looking for in a TE prospect. Shows great ability as a pass catcher and has continuously improved his technique as an inline blocker. Presents a mismatch no matter who is covering him. Possesses good speed for his size but uses his strength, athleticism, and leverage to consistently create separation and beat defenders. Terry has great hands with a large catch radius making him an easy target for the QB. Leaping ability, body control, and timing also contribute to his knack for bringing in 50/50 balls. Offered by elite programs from every Power 5 conference but committed to staying local to play at Cal-Berkeley.
Akili Calhoun Akili Calhoun 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL Liberty | 2021 State CA , DL, 6’4 245 lbs., Liberty HS
Another Cal-Berkeley commit with tons of untapped potential and upside. He possesses an ideal frame at 6’4 245 lbs. that is still growing and has room to add weight/bulk in a college weight program. Displays a lot of raw athleticism and skill with his natural bend and mobility in space. Shows good footwork with a quick explosive first step off the ball. Has a good foundation of technique and fundamentals to build on, flashes good use of hands, and a variety of effective pass rush moves. An effort player that will fit in well to Cal’s already strong 2021 recruiting class.
Kaleb Elarms-Orr Kaleb Elarms-Orr 6'3" | 220 lbs | DL Moreau Catholic | 2021 State CA , DL, 6’3 220 lbs., Moreau Catholic HS
Versatile prospect with a long frame and the ability to play multiple positions on the defensive side depending on how he develops. Flashes his speed, quickness, and agility making plays sideline to sideline. Very effective as pass rusher beating blockers with his speed but also showed a good ability to shed blockers and locate the ball carrier vs the run. Great motor and natural athleticism that is just scratching the surface of his potential. Recruiting has exploded this spring with 17 offers to his name. Many expect him to join Cal’s recruiting class but he also has Arizona, Colorado, Boise State, Fresno State, Kansas, and SDSU in his top schools.
Will Schweitzer Will Schweitzer 6'4" | 215 lbs | LB Los Gatos | 2021 State CA , LB, 6’4 215 lbs., Los Gatos HS
Good framed prospect with ideal length at 6’4. Similar to Kalem Elarms-Orr, Schweitzer has the ability to play multiple positions on defense depending on how he grows and develops. Displays good mobility and lateral agility in the open field and in pursuit. Shows good range and change of direction to redirect to a ball carrier. Understands how to use his hands and has a strong strike at the point of contact. He has an interesting skill set with his ability to rush the passer and move in space and will be one to watch to see how he develops and is utilized in the Nebraska defense.
