One of the perks to being a scout opposed to being a college coach, is that there are zero limitations to when a scout can evaluate prospects in person.  While college coaches are forced to go off film for much of their off-season evaluations, scouts are able to go to any practice, school, event, 7on7, and camp.  Although there have been more limitations than usual due to Covid, I have had a number of opportunities to evaluate prospects in person since January.  Between 7on7’s, Midwest Boom showcases, EFT training sessions, spring workouts, Rise & Fire camps, TopGun workouts, and the EFT/EdgyTim showcase… I have done in person evaluations on upwards of 1,000 midwest prospects this off-season.

A couple things to keep in mind when looking at this list…

  1. These are only prospects that I have evaluated in person since January.  There are plenty of players that I like, but are not on this list, because I don’t have a recent in person evaluation of them.
