As many come from junior varsity or youth programs, they have always played more than one position on. Most times, it’s out of necessity, but others it’s because these gifted football prospects bring so much to the table and are quite versatile.
In the football world we are living in, athletes are taught to do as much as they can – to not only help teams win – but also give their programs added depth.
Once again today, we have 5 more Class of 2023 athletes who are expected to play a huge role this coming season:
Austin Carter, LB/DB, Lynn Haven Mosley. A versatile football player who can lineup at linebacker or in the secondary – while also being able to play receiver if needed. Is one of those young men who will get better as he matures and continues to work. In the classroom, his 3.5 GPA will certainly open doors. Prospects like this – with a solid work ethic – will emerge with a bright future.

Khalil Francis, CB/S, Jacksonville Andrew Jackson. This is going to be one of those talented secondary performers that everyone is going to keep their eye on. Tremendous athlete who has the opportunity to be very special in the years to come. While he is very effective in pass coverage, he is also very physical in making key tackles as well. Coaches love his work ethic, and why not!

Joquez Smith, RB/WR, Tampa Jesuit. What’s not to like about this impressive athlete! He is a threat to get in the endzone from his running back position or as a receiver. Definitely one of these talented football players who you will continue to hear more and more about him as he matures and continues to get bigger and stronger.

Tyler Smith, WR/DB, Land O’Lakes Sunlake. Talk about a football talent that is going to impact this program for a number of years, here is a quick and instinctive slot receiver who has plenty of athletic ability and finds ways to get open. This multi-sport athlete is also a defensive back and happens to hold down a 3.9 GPA in the classroom. Is one of the players who makes the Seahawks go

Zavier Williams, DB/Athlete, Miami Coral Reef. Watch this young man perform and there is no getting around the fact that he is as solid a football talent as you will find in this class. He is a future star in the secondary – as well being a talent who can play anywhere on the field, including on special teams. You will hear more and more about this impressive talent over the next few years – guaranteed.
