Kavaughn Clark Kavaughn Clark 5'8" | 180 lbs | RB Centennial | 2023 State AZ , RB, 5’8” 180 lbs., Centennial HS
Clark picked up his first offer from Nevada in the spring before playing a down of varsity football. He has a well built and compact frame right now at 5’8 180 lbs. His balance and strong lower half allow him to run through first contact and always be falling forward. Impressive speed and acceleration once he finds space with the ability to make defenders miss in the open field. He’s a natural to the game and has very good instincts, vision, and game awareness that will help him as he develops and progresses.
Zaccheus Cooper Zaccheus Cooper 5'11" | 195 lbs | RB Saguaro | 2023 State AZ , RB, 5’11” 195 lbs., Liberty
Cooper is an up and coming star in Arizona. Only saw a flash of his big-time ability when he came on in the second half of the 2019 season. He has a downhill running style with great vision and patience to open up running lanes. Colleges will like his acceleration once he commits to a hole and his ability to run through contact or use his speed to avoid defenders. He’s a complete back with undeniable talent and athleticism that is a threat to score every time he touches the ball and will only continue to get better. New Mexico was the first to offer then more recently Morgan State but he has the potential and upside to be a double-digit D1 offer guy if he continues on the same trajectory.
James Durand James Durand 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Basha | 2023 State AZ , OL, 6’4” 280 lbs., Basha HS
Ideal size and frame for a young offensive lineman with plenty of opportunity to grow. He got great experience as a freshman starter on varsity in 2019 and possesses great genes with his brother, Jonathan Durand, currently on the OL at Yale. He’s extremely strong and physical at the POA for his age and understands how to finish his blocks, often times with the defender on his back. Durand flashes good raw athleticism, flexibility, and bend and as he matures that will continue to get better. He holds an offer from New Mexico and is consistently improving and growing, will be one to watch as he develops into one of the top offensive linemen in the 2023 class.
Deric English Deric English 6'4" | 210 lbs | WR Saguaro | 2023 State AZ , ATH, 6’3” 205 lbs., Mountain Ridge HS
English is an explosive athlete and playmaker with the ability to be a game breaker in all three facets. Has great size and length at 6’3 205 lbs. and a 75-inch wingspan that gives him options as to what position he plays at the next level. He’s a smooth athlete with a natural ability to put himself in position to make plays. Holds an offer from Morgan State and has flown relatively under-the-radar but that won’t last much longer with his potential and upside. Power 5 programs will not be able to pass up on his size, speed, and strength.
Wyatt Milkovic Wyatt Milkovic 6'2" | 230 lbs | LB Basha | 2023 State AZ , LB, 6’2” 225 lbs., Basha HS
New Mexico came into Arizona and offered several top 2023’s and Milkovic was one of them. Started as a freshman at Hamilton in 2019 where he played on the defensive line but made a transfer to Basha for 2020 and has the frame to play linebacker at the college level. Love his versatility and ability to play as a run stopper or use his athleticism and mobility to drop back in coverage. He’s extremely physical and a violent tackler that has a nose for the ball. Keep an eye on him when he has a big upcoming season and his recruiting stock continues to climb.
