Not only does the Division contain one of the best players in the state and the nation for the 2022 class in St. Mary’s Springs Billy Schrauth Billy Schrauth 6'5" | 280 lbs | OL St. Mary's Springs | 2022 State WI , there are a ton of under the radar recruits that have the talent to play college football at all levels, and deserve a little exposure and recognition for their hard work. This article will serve as an introductory feature so our readers and subscribers can get to know some of the best ’22’s in Division 5, review some of the information I could find on them, and analyze their game quickly. Maddux Allen (Cumberland) QB. 5’10, 170 lbs. @allen_maddux Named Second Team All-Conference in 2019 and was named to the PrepRedzoneWI Division 5 Preseason All-State Offensive Team. In 2019 went 133-195 for 2,102 yards and 23 TDs to 8 interceptions. My favorite traits of Allen are his athleticism in the pocket/pocket presence, mobility, and accuracy. Sophomore highlights
Gavin Jarchow (Cumberland) LB. 6’ 180 lbs. @JarchowGavin Named to the PRzWI Preseason All-State Defensive Team. In 2019 posted 73 tackles, 10 TFLs, 3 interceptions. Played WR as well, and my favorite traits of Jarchow as a LB are his effort/speed/pursuit, how well he sets the edge, and his technically sound tackling. Sophomore Season
Billy Schrauth Billy Schrauth 6'5" | 280 lbs | OL St. Mary's Springs | 2022 State WI (St. Mary’s Springs) DL/OL. 6’5, 285 lbs. @SchrauthBilly Holds offers from Mississippi State, Arizona State, Northwestern, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Central Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, Western Michigan. Named 2019 All-State small school HM, named All-Region in 2019. Rated as a 4star recruit by 24/7Sports with a grade of 93.25. Not much I can say about Schrauth that people don’t already know..has an incredibly fast first step, hits as hard as anyone in the state, and is a big, powerful, and explosive athlete. Has everything you want in a D1 athlete and could play Oline or Dline at the D1 level. Sophomore SZN
Isaac Hyland (St. Mary’s Springs) DB. @IsaacHyland Named to the PRzWI Preseason All-State Defensive Team. Plays RB as well, but projects as a DB at the college level, also has some skill in the return game. The first play of his highlight tape has one of the hardest hits I’ve seen in D5 and even the state as long as I’ve been covering Wisco prep football. Besides how hard he hits and his physicality, some of my favorite traits are his discipline in setting the edge at CB, his ability to make plays in man or zone coverage, his hands, and his overall speed. Brent Jeske (Colby) LB. 6’2, 200 lbs. Name to the PRzWI Preseason All-State Second Team Defensive squad. Only has game highlights. vs. Cumberland vs. Eau Claire Regis
Sam Peiffer (Cedar Grove-Belgium) WR/DB. 6’1, 180 lbs. GPA 3.32 @sampeiffer Camped at University of Minnesota-Duluth. In 2019 posted 28 tackles, 4 PBUs, and 2 Interceptions as well as 19 catches for 374 yards and 5 TDs. Some of my favorite traits as a DB are his recovery speed, his speed in breaking on the ball, and ball skills. Logan Arrowood (Cedar Grove-Belgium) QB. 6’2, 185 lbs. @loganarrowood1 2019 First Team All-Conference selection. Named to the PRzWI Preseason All-State Second Team Offensive squad. Threw for 1,445 yards and 22 TDs. Some of my favorite traits are his natural arm strength, ability to make throws on the run, and his touch on the ball. Sophomore Highlights
Andre Corn (Menominee Indian) WR/DB. 6’0, 170 lbs. 2019 First Team All-Conference WR, 2019 First Team All-Conference DB. Named to the PRzWI Preseason All-State Defensive Team. Really complete and natural football player who has great top end speed, gets out of his stance/break quickly, and possesses impressive playmaking ability. Corn has no problem hitting you as well. 2019 Highlights
Noah Barrett (Stratford) WR/LB/RB. 6’0, 170 lbs. Really like his physicality and his shiftiness with the ball in his hands. 2019 Sophomore highlights
Zack Seitz (Stratford) OL/DL. 6’4, 210 lbs. @SeitzZack Named to the PRzWI Preseason All-State Offensive Second Team. Comes off the LOS strong and uses his hands well at the OL position. Good frame as well. Sophomore year
Raife Smart (Stratford) RB. 5’10, 180 lbs. Good vision as a RB and has the strength to run through arm tackles as only a sophomore. 2019 highlights
Cooper Nichols Cooper Nichols 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Stanley- Boyd | 2022 State WI (Stanley-Boyd) ATH. Named to the PRzWI Preseason All-State Offensive Team. Dangerous with the ball in his hands and is an asset in the return game, Nichols is very athletic and does a great job of locating and adjusting to the ball when it’s in the air, and is very strong for his size. He’s a really complete receiver who can make a big play out of a seemingly routine catch. Highlight film
Ian Hall (Amherst) WR/TE 6’3, 200 lbs. 2019 Second Team All-Conference. Named to the PRzWI Preseason Second Team All-State Offensive squad. Great body control who can high point the football really well, Hall is a big-bodied wideout who runs good routes and also has no problem blocking. Sophomore Highlights
Cordero Ysquierdo (Nekoosa) TE. 6’3, 200 lbs. @Cordero59128244 Named to the PRzWI Preseason All-State Offensive Team. Some of my favorite traits of his are his strength when catching the ball and his willingness to catch the ball in traffic, and his speed for his size. Soph Highlights
Ethan Hoogesteger (Nekoosa) QB. 5’10, 180 lbs. @ehooge1 Really like his arm strength and accuracy in short, medium, or deep throws. Sophomore Season

Avery Kaanta (Elk Mound) RB. 5’7, 180 lbs. @averykaanta Named to the 2019 PRzWI Preseason All-State Offensive Team. The first play of his Hudl is really impressive, and shows that Kaanta is a strong back for his size with great balance, speed, and vision. Also impressive in the return game.
