With the 2020 season being pushed back, we wanted to take a look at a player who doesn’t have any FBS offers, but is unique talent at the RB position.
With football being pushed back to the Spring, how are you going to approach the Fall?
“With the season being pushed back to the spring, I’m just gone continue to keep putting work to get better and prepare for the season so I’m ready when the season come in the spring. Also I’m getting ready for basketball too since it’s before football this year so I’m also working out for that too.”
What aspects of your game have you continued to work on throughout the Summer?
“I’ve been working on my speed, route running, and footwork a lot haven’t been much I can do since this virus but now I’m hitting the weight rooms to get stronger and been watching film from last year so I can see what I did. Then I know I did good, but I be trying to see what I could of did better or other ways.”
How would you describe your game?
“Fast, Strong, Smart, Shifty, hardworking dedicated player”
Who do you most mirror your game after?
“I’ll say Barry Sanders everyone always compares me to him a lot just off of my shifty, fast run style and how I can turn nothing into something just like him.”
Do you feel you are better equipped for a specific offensive scheme (Pro Style or Spread)?
“I feel like with how my play style is, I fit good with any offensive scheme.”
What areas of your game do you take the most pride in?
“I take a lot of pride in my leadership! Coming out playing hard everyday, making sure everyone on my team is straight and ready keeping everyone head up even if they make a mistake, also even bringing energy to the team. Cause my Sophmore season we didn’t have much of that so I knew I had to step up and be a leader.”
What are your team goals for the upcoming season at Danville HS?
“My goals this season is to go undefeated, win conference, and state!”
Individual goals for this season?
“Lead my team to the undefeated season and to lead them to a state championship! Also want to lead not just the conference in rushing yards and touchdowns but I want to be top in the nation with it got a lot to prove and I know I can do it.”
As a Top RB prospect in IL, what is the most important thing you’re looking for, as you look at schools?
“I’m looking for a school that I can come to and it will feel like home a good D1 program that’s gone push me to another level and help prepare me for my NFL goal!”
