Alex Benitez Alex Benitez 5'8" | QB Montgomery | 2022 NJ , Montgomery High School, Jr.: Benitez finished a very productive season at running back and linebacker. In the backfield, he ran for 706 yards on 136 carries with 10 touchdowns. Receiving wise, he caught 22 balls for 305 yards. Benitez should be productive for Montgomery as the season inches closer. Benitez had three 100-yard games last season.
Sean Levonaitis, Hillsborough High School, Sr.: Levonaitis had a monster junior year, piling up 1,047 yards on 197 carries with 11 touchdowns. As a sophomore, Levonaitis ran for 1,014 yards on 140 carries with 13 touchdowns.
Teddy Gouldin Teddy Gouldin 6'2" | QB Bernards | 2021 State NJ , Bernards High School, Sr.: Gouldin threw for 1,937 yards with 21 touchdowns last season. He is an accurate passer and a good decision-maker for the Mountaineers. While Gouldin is a nature pocket passer, he is capable of making plays on the run and he usually has some talented receiving weapons at Bernards. Expect a strong senior season for the talented QB.
Chad Martini, Watchung Hills Regional High School, Sr.: Martini has seen time on varsity since his freshman year. Martini threw for 1,544 yards as a junior. He throws a good deep ball. He has been the leader for the Warriors, and he’s a two-sport athlete, also a very good basketball player. As long as he has receiving weapons, Martini can make plays happen.
Justin Drews, Watchung Hills Regional High School, Sr.: Drews had a very productive junior campaign at wide receiver for the Warriors. He caught 45 passes for 758 yards and three scores, including a nine-reception, 165-yard performance against Montgomery last October.
Donnele McQuilla, Franklin High School, Sr.: McQuilla finished the 2019 year strong for Franklin, running for over 100 yards in three of the last four games. He had two-touchdown performances in games against Old Bridge and Freehold Township.
AJ Pena, Somerville High School, Sr.: Pena was a defensive specialist last season for the Pioneers. He totaled 12 sacks and 69 tackles. He had a three-sack, 13-tackle performance against Cranford in 2019. Pena has been a monster on the defensive line, and expect him to have more impact for Somerville in 2020.
