QB Cory Dorsey c/o 2021 Riverview Gardens High School. Riverview Gardens School District may have struggled last year, but they still have talent underneath the dirt. Dorsey, going into his senior season, had 928 passing yards last year and 9 touchdowns. With his accuracy, he can contribute towards a major turnaround season for the Rams. Dorsey has great potential to become an all conference quarterback, and hopefully become a powerhouse 5.
QB Amaurien Robinson c/o 2021 Hazelwood Central High School. The six foot quarterback is a diamond in the ruff. Although Robinson saw action in three games last year, he still managed to put on a show. Robinson had a total of 309 passing yards and four touchdowns last season. Whether it’s a long ball or a short pass, he can place the ball anywhere the receiver is located in seconds. Robinson not only has a cannon, the kid has wheels, maneuvering through the trenches as if it was an anfractuous course. He has a great sense of when the hole is going to collapse and when it’s time to run or get rid of the ball. This is a major
key while playing quarterback.
RB Armon Hill c/o 2022 Hazelwood East High School. The young running back has a great motor. He’s also dangerous when he totes the pill during goal line situations, bulldozing through the trenches to score. Last season, Hill averaged about six yards per carry. The junior back has a lot of potential, and more years to become a force to reckon with. During the offseason, Hill participated in the 7 on 7 tournaments with Flight, perfecting his craft as an offensive and defensive player.
WR Kameron Gillespie Kameron Gillespie 5'11" | 185 lbs | WR McCluer | 2022 State MO c/o 2022 McCluer High School. With his quickness and ability to bounce off tackles, Gillespie is a big time problem for defenses. He’s not only quick off the line, but he’s also a threat on special teams. Gillespie is also a deep threat, forcing defensive backs to trail behind while he crosses the goal line.
WR Armani Turner c/o 2022 Hazelwood Central High School. There’s no question that this 5’8 receiver is the next top dog in the Suburban North. Turner’s quickness off the line is a key part to the Hawks’ offense. He may be shorter than the average wideout, but he puts up a fight putting defensive backs on their heels while run blocking. Turner also participated in the 7 on 7 tournaments with Flight along with Hill. By the start of his junior year, he will be one of the top receivers in the state.
