Travis Boston Jr. Travis Boston Jr. 5'10" | 200 lbs | RB Fordson | 2021 State MI | RB | Fordson
The Oak Park transfer put together a four touchdown performance in a heartbreaking loss to Livonia Franklin. Boston Jr. is an underrated playmaker that should be a breakout player this season. He currently holds a couple of NAIA offers, but he is a talented player that should start gaining more recruiting interest.
Kalen King Kalen King 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB Cass Tech | 2021 State MI | DB| Cass Tech
King projects as a defensive back at the next level, but he put on a show a receiver on Saturday. The Penn State commit finished with four catches for 187 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-27 win over rival Detroit King. Seen as one of the best overall players in the state, King is an elite athlete and will be a key part to any playoff run that Cass Tech makes at the end of the season.
Connor Hatfield Connor Hatfield 5'9" | 160 lbs | WR Livonia Franklin | 2021 State MI | WR | Livonia Franklin
Hatfield put together an impressive performance to kickoff the 2020 season against Fordson. He gained 159 total yards of offense and scored three times in a 28-27 comeback win. Hatfield currently holds several NAIA and DIII offers and I expect the versatile slot receiver to pick up at least a few more before the season ends.
Joshua Martin Joshua Martin 6'5" | 265 lbs | OL Canton | 2021 State MI | OL | Canton
Canton’s offense exploded on Friday night and the play of offensive lineman like Martin were key to their success. The Chiefs’ offense put up 54 points and refused to be stopped all game. Martin is a high level talent and has the size college coaches look for. He has received mostly NAIA and D3 offers and should continue to pick up more as the season wears on.
Brydan Evans | RB | Mumford
Evans is a bit of an unknown as a prospect, but he put together a breakout performance against East English Village. He rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-0 victory. Evans hasn’t seen much recruiting interest, but I expect that to change if his name keeps sticking out in the box score.
