Having a player on the roster who can fill multiple roles on both sides of the ball is quite common in high school. However, having a player who can be elite on both sides of the ball is a lot rarer.

This is why highlighting players who are difficult to classify in one position is so important. Being a versatile athlete only increases the stock value of a potential prospect. Below is a list of six players who check multiple boxes for multiple positions.

Finneseth’s size makes him an instant standout. The 6-foot-2, 200lbs athlete has the build of a Division I player already. On the defensive side of the field, he plays like a run-stopping box safety or outside linebacker with strong coverage skills. When watching his film, you see a player who forces turnovers and delivers devastating hits. His athleticism can also be seen on offense as a receiver with his strong route-running skills and great hands. Finneseth is, without a doubt, a player worth getting to know.
