Grayson High School has been known to be one of the powerhouse football programs within the entire state of Georgia. Not only does Grayson typically have the win/loss record to support this statement, but the amount of players in which the program sends to the next level of play speaks for itself.

During the 2019 season, Grayson came up a bit shorter than it wanted to. In the playoffs, the team lost to Lowndes High School in the third round of the playoffs. The final score was 28-20. Lowndes would eventually go on to win a few more games and would find themselves coming in second place in the state championship to Marietta. This year, they hope to be able to improve upon their success last season, and find a way to make a breakthrough, and final push to the state championship.

Lucky enough, the program did not lose too many key players to graduation. Two of the only key players in which the program will be missing this season includes WR Ryan King, who is now playing for Georgia Tech, and MLB Logan Daniels. Unfortunately, the program did lose Marquis Grove’s Killebrew due to his transfer to Brookwood High
