Here is the scouting report from Seaman’s Centennial League victory.
Offensive Three Stars
QB, Reid Cowan, 6’3”, 200– Cowan wants to play college football and if he piles up numbers all season long, he will get a chance. Cowan threw one touchdown pass and rushed for another. He threw for 175 yards in the win. He has quick feet and runs a balanced offense. He added four tackles on defense. He projects as an athlete that could play at the NAIA or JUCO level.
DL, Ewan Mills Ewan Mills 6'2" | 285 lbs | OL Seaman | 2021 State KS , 6’2”, 285, (Ranked No. 110) – Mills is a factor of both sides of the football. He starts at center for the Vikings and did not have one bad snap in the win. He captains the Seaman offensive line which at times dominated Hayden’s front four. Mills has offers from Washburn and NAIA programs.
TE, Braden Colley, 6’0”, 190– Colley, at times, looked like the best player on the field. The junior caught six balls for 99 yards including a 19-yard touchdown. He is a big target with soft hands. He also added six tackles on defense. Colley is a member of the 2022 Class to keep an eye on.
Defensive Three Stars
DB, Caeden Heydenreich, 6’0”, 165 – The senior defensive back had two pass breakups that prevented two touchdown completions. He has great closing speed and knows how to play DB. He also finished with three tackles.
LB, Nathan Zeferjahn, 6’1”, 210– Zeferjahn, sealed Seaman’s win with a late interception. He had four tackles and rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown. The Viking senior could play at the NAIA or JUCO level on either side of the ball depending on a program’s needs.
DL, Kasen Hasenkamp, 5’10”, 190– Hasenkamp is a sophomore to watch closely. He played defensive tackle for the Vikings and five tackles. He has a football frame and will only get stronger as he commits to the weight room. He could project as a DII talent.
