Nevan Cremascoli Nevan Cremascoli 6'4" | 205 lbs | QB New Trier | 2022 State IL (New Trier HS)- Good height and weight, slender, trim, proportioned with some definition. An athletic QB, who shows the ability to work both inside and outside the pocket. Displays good processing ability post snap to quickly dissect coverages and get the ball out. Solid release, shows a snap release, throwing with a lot of arm. Good arm strength can push the ball downfield with consistency and drive the football to the short and intermediate areas as well. Very good touch on throws to all areas of the field, was able to throw a catchable ball while getting it over an underneath defender and in between backend coverage. Good competitive toughness, is willing to stand in and take a hit to make a throw. Good mobility when the pocket breaks down, can escape to his right or left to buy time or pick up yards with his feet. Good body control when breaking contain to square body and make off platform throws. Overall, he has a lot of promise to project to the next level, and he still has two seasons to continue to develop.
Justin Kowalak Justin Kowalak 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Crystal Lake South | 2022 State IL (Crystal Lake South HS)- Solid height and weight, slender, proportioned with some definition. Good post snap decision making and decisiveness in order to get ball out on time. When in the pocket, shows very good weight distribution and transition to allow for zip on the ball. Good accuracy to all parts of the field. Throws a catchable ball with touch. Displays good mobility to elude pressure or tuck and pick up yards by himself. When outside the pocket, a very good off script passer. Will elude defenders, and reset allowing him to maintain his accuracy and arm strength. Overall, at this point he is an undersized QB who has a lot of unique traits already, and will continue to be refined in his next two HS seasons. He will be a good player at the next level.
Matt Sommerdyke (Wheaton Warrenville South)- Good height and weight, buff, basketball build, proportioned with definition. He’s a QB who is going to do most of his damage from the pocket but can scramble to pick up yardage when needed. Good pocket presence, will stand tall and can deliver passes under pressure. Solid release, quick, bit of a 3/4 release. Shows good arm strength can push the ball to any area of the field. Displays good touch to get the ball up and over defenders. Solid movement skills when play breaks down, can slide right or left to buy time. Does a good job of keeping eyes downfield, and can contort to make the off platform throws. Overall, he has unique arm talent and as he continues to polish the finer parts of his game, he could be a very good player at the next level.
