Union County is one of the top athletic counties in the state. Whether it is the basketball court or the football field, there is elite talent all over. Heading into the 2020 season, they will have some elite defensive talent on the field. Here are the top defensive prospects to watch.

Kaspereen burst onto the scene as a sophomore on both sides of the ball. Defensively, the defensive lineman showed an ability to stop the run and get to the quarterback. He is a strong force on the line and was able to use that strength to get an edge on opponents. Kaspereen will continue to fine tune his game and grow as an upperclassman.

Mark Wright (2021) | Hillside

Hillside enjoyed a 12-0 season in 2019 and their defense was one of the top in the state. There was talent all over the field and Wright was one at the linebacker position. He finished his junior season with 63 tackles, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. Wright will be back for one more season and will look to continue his dominance.
