The camp was very well put together, socially distant and the players were brought in waves so getting a chance to see them was very easy. Here are the group of quarterbacks, wide receivers and defensive backs that stood out Sunday evening.
Ceylon Hall-Rattler – 2021 WR – CICS Loomis-Longwood
You can’t teach size and Hall-Rattler has it. Long and lean at 6’4”, showed very good quickness in the individual drills. During one-on-one’s ran good routes and solid hands. If he’s able to add some extra weight he could be a great red zone threat.
Jameson Sheehan – 2022 QB – Cary Grove
Sheehan has a baseball background and it shows. It seemed like every pass he threw, it was his fastball. That was impressive, but he has some work to do on his touch and accuracy. He’s got the arm strength to make all the throws, just needs to refine his technique. The tools and size are there, just needs to continue improving.
Kahlil Tate – 2023 WR – Kenwood Academy
I was surprised to see he was such a young player because Tate ran polished routes and showed good hands. Has plenty of time to add size to his current 6’0 frame, but has the talent to help this year if given an opportunity. He is one to watch the next few years as he continues to develop.
Jacob Pond – 2022 DB – Buffalo Grove
Pond needs to add some weight, but showed good quickness and reaction times during testing. Made a very good play that resulted in a pick during one-on-ones. Needs to work on his first few steps, but has good reactionary speed.
Quick hitters:
Tucker Miller – 2022 WR – Marist
Had some good routes in one-on-one’s and showed good foot work during routes.
Hayden Timosciek – 2022 QB – Lockport
Great size and a strong arm. Has very good touch on some throws.
Jalyn Givan – 2021 DB – Plainfield North
Has good height with long arms. Does need to add on some weight. Picked off a pass during one-on-one’s.
Quintin Hale – 2022 DB – Thornwood
Another prospect with good height and long arms. Showed some explosiveness during individual drills.
Nevan Cremascoli Nevan Cremascoli 6'4" | 205 lbs | QB New Trier | 2022 State IL – 2022 QB – New Trier
Doesn’t do anything outstanding during the camp but is solid all around. Good arm strength and accuracy. Put the ball in good spots for WR’s during one-on-one’s.
