This young man can stop on a dime and turn and get north and south fast. He’s been electric this year as a returner and has shown deceptive speed as a route runner. He can run under the deep ball and can make his QB right on passes that look like they could be overthrows. He’s got soft hands and plenty of production already, going for 623 yards and 9 TD’s.
Keegan Castetter, Columbus North, 5’8, 165, JR
Not the biggest guy in the world, but man is he a crafty route runner. Keegan understands how to setup safeties and linebackers to get them to go where they don’t want to. He’s a true slot receiver who has great burst of the ball and is extremely quick. He’s got such clean cuts and does a great job stemming defenders. He has overall good speed and can pull away from the opposing team. He’s a major sleeper in the 2022 class.
Wallace Stovall Wallace Stovall 6'0" | 165 lbs | WR Avon | 2021 State IN , Avon, 6’, 170, SR
He has to be one of the more sure-handed wideouts in all of Indiana. On-Film, it seems like Stovall catches just about everything thrown his way. He’s not afraid to go across the middle and will do whatever it takes for his team to get yards. He can play on the outside as an x receiver or the inside as an F; it doesn’t matter where he lines up, he’ll make plays for you. He’s a selfless football player on film who will block too.
Jordan Turner, Northside, 6’1, 190, SR
One of the state’s more polished wide receivers resides in Fort Wayne at Northside High School. Turner is so explosive with the football in his hands and will run through arm tackles. He’s not a burner speed-wise, but he uses his route running ability to consistently get behind the defense. He regularly hauled in passes with a defender draped all over him this fall and showed strong hands by doing so.
Joseph Faubion, Indianapolis Lutheran, 6’4, 185, SR
This is a long-striding wideout who can go up and get the football. Faubion high points the ball and makes it look almost effortless while plucking it out of the air. He quickly eats up corners leverage and gets them out of phase like it’s second nature. He lives for stemming cornerbacks inside and trouncing them on the post route. He’s got a good mix of stable speed and size that isn’t easily found in a wideout prospect.
