Mason WilliamsMasonWilliams5'11" | QBBixby | 2021StateOK – QB – Bixby
In arguably the best game of week one, Bixby knocked off Jenks 42-35. The Spartans were once again led by their senior quarterback Mason WilliamsMasonWilliams5'11" | QBBixby | 2021StateOK. Williams bounced back from an early turnover and helped lead a Spartan comeback and ultimate victory. He threw for nearly 250 yards on 26-40 passing and five touchdowns. We wrote about Williams last week, suggesting that colleges need to take a chance on Williams. he backed that up during Friday’s big win.

Collin MattesonCollinMatteson5'11" | WROklahoma Christian | 2022OK – ATH – Oklahoma Christian School
When it comes to a complete performance on both sides of the ball, OCS’ Collin MattesonCollinMatteson5'11" | WROklahoma Christian | 2022OK’s production from Friday night is hard to beat. In their big win over Morrison, Matteson was doing it all on offense and defense. He finished with a pair of touchdown catches on offense. On defense, he also had 11 tackles and a pair of interceptions. We came into the season expecting Matteson to have a big year for OCS and he’s off to a great start.

Check back every Sunday when we’ll have five more candidates for our weekly Player Of The Week!
