Hunter ran the ball 31 times for 453 yards and scored seven touchdowns, adding two receptions for 50 yards with both of those going to the end zone.

The Tigers earned an 80-32 victory over Oskaloosa to improve to 3-1 on the year.

"The only game I’ve scored that many times in was on my Xbox," Hunter admitted.

It was a memorable night for Hunter, as he placed his name atop the Grinnell school records.

The line did an excellent job up front," Hunter said. "They dominated the defense and in the box."

As the game progressed, Hunter lost count in just how many times he had visited the Grinnell end zone.

"After the third or fourth TD, I lost count," he said. "I just tried to get more every play."

The Tigers have reeled off three consecutive wins, scoring over 48 points each week, since a loss to Harlan. Hunter has 1,092 yards rushing and 18 touchdowns on just 88 carries this year, adding seven receptions for 148 yards and three more scores.
