After evaluating Jurrion at a showcase prior to entering his freshman year, his D1 potential was undeniable. He routinely showed off his smooth athleticism, versatility, and ball skills but its his growth and improvement in the last year that has set him apart and is paying dividends in his recruitment. Since the offseason, he has picked up offers from ASU, Cal, Oregon State, San Jose State, and most recently his first SEC offer from Arkansas. The 6’2” 205lb. ATH has the ability to play on either side of the ball at the next level depending on how he develops. At receiver, he is a very difficult cover 1on1 showing great route running ability using his change of direction and acceleration out of his breaks to create separation. He has elite level body control and ball skills that allow him to make extremely difficult catches look easy. His speed, quickness, and instincts make him extremely dangerous in the secondary and colleges will love that versatility. He will be one of the top recruits on the west coast over the next several years.
Keynan Higgins, Pittsburg, WR, 6’4” 170 lbs.
Higgins already has the ideal frame and length for a college level athlete at 6’4” 170 lbs. with plenty of room and time for growth. He projects as a wide out where he can use his length and large catch radius but showed good versatility as a freshman playing multiple positions and both sides of the ball. He’s a plus athlete with good straight-line speed and the ability to high point the ball over the top of defenders, making him a lethal vertical threat. He shows confident hands and a good ability to adjust to the ball in the air. He recently transferred to Pittsburg HS from Liberty and figures to be a big piece of their explosive offense for years to come. Higgins picked up his first offer from ASU and given his upside he will be a double digit offer guy when all is said and done.
Israel Polk, Pittsburg, WR, 6’3 175 – Cal
Polk is no stranger to the recruiting process after watching his older brother, Makai, collect 11 D1 offers eventually landing at Cal Berkeley, where Israel picked up his first offer from. The 6’1” wide receiver recently transferred from Rodriguez HS (Fairfield) to bay area powerhouse Pittsburg HS. Izzy showed great potential as a freshman where he flashed his explosive playmaking ability using his long frame and speed to stretch the field. He has good length now going into his sophomore year with a large catch radius but if his brother is any indication of his growth potential, he could be 6’3” or taller. He has strong and confident hands and showed a great ability to come down with a high percentage of 50/50 balls. He’s definitely one to watch as he develops and more power five programs take notice.
Rashid Williams Rashid Williams 6'2" | 180 lbs | WR Pittsburg | 2023 State CA , Pittsburg, WR, 6’2” 175 lbs.
One of the highest ranked 2023 athletes on the west coast and his recruiting has been skyrocketing this off season. Williams holds offers from Oregon State, San Jose State, Cal, ASU, and most recently picked up Utah and Arkansas. He’s an extremely gifted athlete that is a threat any time he steps on the field. He’s a strong route runner with good footwork and is very smooth in and out of his breaks to create separation. He shows advanced ball skills for his age with his hand eye coordination, body control, and ability to track the ball in the air. Not only does he impress on the field, but he has great measurements for a young wide out at 6’2” 175 lbs. and a 77 inch wingspan. It will be a matter of time before Williams solidifies himself as a national recruit.
