Ridge Docekal Ridge Docekal 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Saguaro | 2022 State AZ , QB, 6’3″ 205lbs.
Saguaro High School (C/O 2022)
Docekal is only a junior, yet he already looks like a mature QB. He shows great footwork in and outside of the pocket while possessing ideal pro-style QB mechanics. Docekal displays excellent poise in the pocket by showing good anticipation and patience on developing plays. He shows a quick, high release with good velocity. He possesses very good accuracy and arm strength as he is able to deliver darts into tight windows. Docekal shows good timing with his receivers and has not shown to put them in jeopardy of big collisions. Docekal is already a power 5 prospect, and in an offense surrounded by weapons, he has the potential to light up Arizona record books. Saguaro will be a scary team once again this year, now with Docekal leading the offense.
Avery Lambert Avery Lambert 5'9" | 165 lbs | WR Horizon | 2021 State AZ , ATH., 5’9″ 175lbs.
Horizon High School (C/O 2021)
Lambert is a two-way starter and all around play maker. He is the Julian Edelman of the Horizon offense. He displays precise route running with extremely quick feet. He shows a good habit of attacking the DB’s toes then breaking into his route. Lambert shows strong hands and is fearless running across the middle. He shows good knowledge and makes good decisions of whether to bend or stay vertical on vertical routes. He fights for extra yards as a ball carrier and can be used very effectively on jet sweeps or screens. On defense, he shows good technique as a corner with good ball instincts as well. He has displayed good play recognition and the potential to be a ball hawk DB. He often blows up screens and can aid with run support. Lambert should be the key guy for Horizon and is prone to have a huge year.
Brayten Silbor Brayten Silbor 6'3" | 195 lbs | QB Chaparral | 2022 State AZ , QB, 6’3″ 195lbs.
Chaparral High School (C/O 2022)
Silbor served as the backup last year to current Ohio State QB Jack Miller, and saw action in 5 games. In just 5 games, Silbor threw for over 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns while adding another TD on the ground. To say he served his QB2 role well is an understatement, which is why he will be looking for power 5 offer. He shows good poise in the pocket and delivers the ball with excellent touch. He possesses good arm strength and accuracy both in the pocket and on the run. Silbor loves to take shots deep and proved to be very effective with the deep ball last season. He will continue to put on size as he gets older which will make him more durable. In an offense with a number of deep threat receivers, expect Silbor to be a big gunslinger this season.
Crew Edwards Crew Edwards 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR Arcadia | 2021 State AZ , ATH., 6’0″ 180lbs.
Arcadia High School (C/O 2021)
Edwards is a very talented athlete and should be the big play guy for Arcadia. He is electric with the ball in his hands, and is an absolute flier downfield. He has lined up everywhere and is effective everywhere. His speed gives him an advantage to get over the top of DB’s making him a deep ball threat as a receiver. He accelerates well as he is able to get to top speed quickly. As a ball carrier, he has shown to run zone reads and is able to be a cut-and-go type of guy. He shows very good lateral agility and change of direction. Edwards is a threat at returning kicks and punts, as he does not hesitate and shows good field vision by finding open gaps and using his speed to bust through. Edwards will have a new gunslinger QB this season who will definitely get him the ball, so expect Edwards to have a big year for Arcadia.
Cameron Mack Cameron Mack 5'7" | 180 lbs | RB Peoria | 2022 State AZ , RB, 5’8″ 185lbs.
Peoria High School (C/O 2022)
Mack will have the full workload of carries this season after splitting carries last season as a sophomore. His athleticism earned him a varsity spot as a freshman, then last season as a sophomore he really started to mature into a legit threat. Mack shows good speed with very good lateral agility, which makes him look faster. He likes to cutback often and has proven to be very effective. He runs through arm tackles and bounces off defenders that don’t wrap him up. He displays good pad level on film and shows very impressive field vision by being able to squeak through the smallest gaps. He showed a glimpse of being able to catch the ball last year, so look for him to get more targets in the passing game. Mack is a huge sleeper in the west valley, and could easily bust loose this season.
