MAPLE GROVE-- Taking a look at the second batch of prospects at running back, wide receiver, tight end, and you cannot forget the athletes who stood out in Maple Grove at the Pylon 7on7 tournament last Sunday.

Tyson Bautch, ATH, Centennial (MN)/Twin Cities Aces (2024)

Bautch, a promising young quarterback from the 2024 class, filled in at wide receiver last Sunday and led all Aces at wide receiver with eight receptions, yards, and touchdowns. The Cougars might find this young prospect might have the versatility to go around.

Sam RenschSamRensch6'6" | DBHutchinson | 2022StateMN, WR, Hutchinson (MN)/Hutchinson (2022)

When I watched Rensch last Sunday, I got a first glimpse of how long the Tigers will be this season. Sitting high in our new 2022 rankings, Rensch has excellent ball awareness and has very consistent speed and tons of length standing at 6’6. Rensch reminds me of a lot of Trey LongstreetTreyLongstreet6'7" | TEDelano | 2021StateMN of Delano but with better route running ability and better wheels. Should be an attractive suitor at either WR/DB at the next level!
