With that in mind, Prep Redzone Florida takes that spotlight and shines it directly on some seniors across the state – with a look at those athletes who put in the work, but never get that recognition.
With more and more college coaches heading south for big men, we bring you five seniors to keep an eye on this season.
Brolin Bennett, Orlando Bishop Moore. At 6-8, 315-pounds, you simply cannot miss this young man. An improving prospect who is certainly someone you look at and see what he needs to work on. The first thing you have to understand is this big man has a solid work ethic and will play whistle-to-whistle, which shows you that he is willing to put in the work to get better. You take someone like this because he has a huge upside. You cannot teach 6-8!

Anthony Earle, Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons. On the way to FAU next year, this is one of those under-the-radar prospects that is someone that the Chiefs will count on in so many ways. Big, strong and very athletic, his future looks very bright – and that is what head coach Matt Dubuc and his staff will be counting on when this team takes the field this season.

Tate Files, Jacksonville Englewood. No matter if he plays on the defensive side of the ball, on offense or special teams, this is a big time football talent who has a motor that simply does not stop. He plays this game at a high level, and while colleges love his play on defense, what he does on offense is also impressive. If you are a defensive lineman, you just do not get a clean shot at this standout. He is too quick and will continue to block until the end of the play. He is a real gamer who will be vital for this program in 2020.

Braden Harrelson, Pace. At 6-2, 280, this versatile linemen can get it done on both sides of the ball, which is huge for this program. On offense, this young man will hit you and make sure you do not get close to the ball carrier or quarterback. This is the kind of line prospects you win football games with – and this program will truly make some major strides with him in the lineup.

Alec Kabel, Sarasota Riverview. It doesn’t matter where he lines up – guard or tackle, protecting the passer or blocking for the running game, this is one of those football players who loves this game and plays it with plenty of passion. As he gets bigger and stronger and puts more weight on, he will be more confident and continue to get much better. Have to like his future.
