New Jersey will have its fair share of impactful players this season, and the quarterback position will feature a ton of returning talent. Let’s take a look at senior quarterbacks you should watch this season.
Tahj Bullock Tahj Bullock 6'4" | QB St. Peter's Prep | 2021 State NJ , St. Peter’s Prep – Bullock, a Virginia Tech commit, is a proven winner. He was a master of orchestrating comeback victories and game-winning drives a season ago, and that’s why St. Peter’s Prep was so tough to beat. He finished with 2,250 yards through the air with 28 touchdowns to just seven interceptions. He added another 461 yards on the ground with five scores. Bullock was an all-state quarterback a season ago and is in store for another strong year.
Andrew Butler Andrew Butler 6'4" | QB DePaul Catholic | 2021 State NJ , DePaul – Butler is all about precision. The left-handed DePaul striker set the program record for passing yards a season ago. He threw for 2,890 yards and 28 touchdowns. He was clean in the pocket – only throwing six interceptions. He can make the deep throw and he has a good pocket presence. Butler also has the ability to make plays in the ground game.
Ah-Shaun Davis Ah-Shaun Davis 6'2" | QB Willingboro | 2021 State NJ , Willingboro – Davis will be headed to Lafayette following his senior year at Willingboro. He threw for 2,600 yards and 38 touchdowns to just six picks a season ago, also running for four touchdowns. He can throw for five or six touchdowns in any given game, and he is capable of throwing for 300-plus yards any night.
Charles DePrima Charles DePrima 6'2" | QB Ramapo | 2021 State NJ , Ramapo – DePrima, a Harvard commit, threw for over 2,000 yards and 15 touchdowns last year to just three interceptions. He did a ton of damage on the run, as he amassed 1,198 yards on 146 carries with 14 touchdowns. Ramapo had its second straight undefeated season, and DePrima enters the 2020 campaign as the face of a program with 26 straight wins overall.
Jake Kazanowsky Jake Kazanowsky 6'2" | QB Toms River North | 2021 State NJ , Toms River North – Kazanowsky can sling it. He led the Shore Conference in passing yards with 2,144 and 23 passing touchdowns. While completing nearly 60 percent of his throws, Kazanowsky kept his interceptions to a minimum with eight. Toms River North averaged 32.5 points per game a season ago.
Dario Bryant, Cedar Grove – Bryant threw for 2,430 yards and 28 passing touchdowns last year for Cedar Grove. Bryant and his group were a prolific offense a season ago, scoring 30 or more points in 10 of 12 games.
