LB Sam Schmidt c/o 21 Borgia High School. Borgia may have lost to O’Fallon Christian, but their defense had put up a fight. Schmidt was the ring leader behind it all. Wherever the ball was, he was a heat seeking missile, targeting whoever had it. Schmidt led Borgia’s defense with 10 tackles, a fumble recovery, and a sack.
