A lot of times some of these players get overlooked because they don’t play at big schools, and they deserve the spotlight and the opportunity to be seen by college coaches. Today we look at talent rich South/Central Florida 3A Region 3. Big time players are spotlighted below!
Toby Kellner- Oasis High
6’2 190lbs
Kellner is a fantastic dual-threat quarterback prospect. Kellner has passed for 665 yards and five touchdowns and rushed for 294 yards and two touchdowns in three games already this season! His play style reminds me of Johnny Manziel, he uses his feet to buy time in the pocket, but will also take off and run when necessary. He puts the defense under a lot of pressure with his ability to run and throw. As a passer he shows good accuracy, touch, and field vision.

Jacob Azizi- Bishop Verot
6’2 185lbs
Azizi is a dual-threat prospect that is very adept at running the zone-read offense. He’s got arm strength to throw go routes and deep posts, he posses a nice touch allowing his receivers to run underneath the ball. As a runner he’s got great speed and elusiveness. He’s thrown for 575 yards and rushed 117 yards in three games this season.

Brandon Marcsisin- Calvary Christian c/o 22
6’3 205lbs
Marcsisin is an outstanding prospect who has D-1 ability and size. He’s off to a great start leading Calvary Christian to a 2-0 start and throwing for 308 yards and 3 touchdowns. He has good footwork, has a quick setup, and gets the ball out if his hands quickly. He’s very good at reading coverages and knows where to go with the ball. Marcsisin has good arm strength and throws a nice catchable ball.

Anthony Colandrea- CCC c/o 23
6’0 160lbs
Colandrea is a nice dual-threat prospect that is only a sophomore, he’s fearless in the pocket, and will take chances. He’s very quick and does a good job avoiding rushers and improvises on the run keeping his eyes downfield. He’s a very athletic passer with decent arm strength and good accuracy. By his senior year Colandrea will be one of the best quarterbacks in the Tampa Bay area.

Bryson Martin Bryson Martin 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB Clearwater Central Catholic | 2022 FL – CCC c/o 22
6’2 195lbs
Martin was in a heated battle with Anthony Colandrea for the starting spot at Clearwater Central Catholic. He is a transfer from Plant High School, Martin has good size, athleticism, good accuracy, and arm strength. This battle could go on into the season and and if Martin gets the opportunity he has the ability to do big things in this offense.

Jay Allen- John Carroll
6’3 190lbs
Jay Allen is one if the best athletes in Florida, excelling at football and baseball equally. Allen does a good job of improvising and using his feet to get out of trouble. While scrambling he does a good job keeping his eyes downfield and finding the open receiver. He has a strong arm and really good accuracy throwing on the run. Allen is an Elite 11 finalists and one of the best overall prospects in Florida; he has received several Division 1 offers for football, but he is currently committed to University of Florida as a Baseball commit.

Matthew Shannon- Cardinal Newman
6’0 190lbs
Shannon is a dual-threat quarterback that is athletic and has the ability to extend plays and pick up yards with his feet or keeping his eyes downfield. When the play breaks down he’s very poised and stays under control, shows the arm strength to make all the intermediate and short throws. Shannon currently has two offers from Heidelberg University and Keiser University

Dylan Zervos- Cardinal Mooney
6’4 205lbs
This is Zervos first year at Cardinal Mooney, he transferred from Saint Stephen’s Episcopal this season. He is an athletic quarterback that does a good job rolling to his left and throwing with accuracy. He can make all the throws anywhere on the field, and shows good arm strength and touch on short to intermediate routes.

Tayven Clark- Cardinal Mooney c/o 22
6’0 180lbs
Clark is a class of 22 Prospect, he does a good job reading what the defense gives him and gets rid of the ball quickly. He has a quick release and shows no wasted motion in his mechanics. He doesn’t have the strongest arm, but he makes up for it with anticipation, touch, and accuracy.

Will Prichard- Kings Academy c/o 23
6’3 200lbs
Prichard is an excellent class of 23 quarterback prospect. His footwork and throwing mechanics are advanced for his age. He throws with a nice touch and has the arm strength to make every throw. In his last game he threw for 223 yards and three touchdowns. He’s got huge upside!

Gavin Rupp- Berkeley Prep
6’3 200lbs
Rupp is a big-time quarterback in the Tampa Bay Area. Rupp has a rocket for an arm and shows toughness to stand in the pocket and take a hit while delivering the ball. He is accurate throwing the football and believes in his arm strength and will test small windows to throw in. He has above-average footwork and mechanics. Rupp currently holds three Division 1 offers from East Tennessee State, Gardner-Webb, and UT Martin.

Xavier Estrada- Bonita Springs
6’0 195lbs
Estrada has a smooth throwing motion and and good ball placement. Shows really good accuracy rolling out and throwing on the run from either side of the pocket. Estrada has really good accuracy on short and intermediate throws.
