Frank Riggio Frank Riggio 5'8" | RB Verona | 2021 State NJ , Verona, Sr. – Riggio enters his senior year as the top rusher from a season ago, accumulating 2,055 yards on 272 attempts. He ran for a score in every game but one and carried for 100 or more yards in nine games. His season-best was a 314-yard, six-touchdown performance in a win over Kinnelon. In total, Riggio ran for 37 TDs. Riggio is a favorite to be the state’s top rusher once again.
Ali Lee Jr. Ali Lee Jr. 5'11" | ATH Woodbridge | 2021 State NJ , Woodbridge, Sr. – Lee Jr. was the state’s third rusher a year ago, running for 1,873 yards on 296 attempts, with 21 touchdowns. He totaled 257 yards on 28 carries with two TDs in a victory over Colonia last September.
Jaiden Abrams Jaiden Abrams 5'11" | RB Hammonton | 2021 State NJ , Hammonton, Sr. – Abrams was another player who ran for over 1,500 yards a season ago. Abrams finished with 1,843 yards on 270 attempts, with 21 TDs. He had five games where he scored three TDs, and his season-best was 266 yards on 30 attempts in a victory over Holy Spirit. Abrams takes off as soon as he gets the ball and he has a great cutting ability. A major senior year could be on the horizon for the Hammonton star.
Kevin Boswell, Hamilton West, Sr. – Boswell had a major junior year for Hamilton West, compiling 1,665 yards on 174 attempts, with 20 TDs. He had four 200-yard games, including a 284-yard showing on 17 carries against Hightstown, where he rushed for four touchdowns. He also had a four-touchdown outing in a win over Lawrence last season.
Nasir Robinson Nasir Robinson 5'8" | RB Penns Grove | 2021 State NJ , Penns Grove, Sr. – Robinson, a Navy commit, had a fantastic junior season for Penns Grove. He finished with 1,618 yards on 222 carries and 29 TDs. He ran for 100-plus yards in 10 of 13 games.
