And while the season gets going, recruiting is in full swing. As of right now, Oklahoma’s 2021 class has 29 prospects currently committed. Last week, Bishop Kelley standout Collin Morrison Collin Morrison 6'6" | DL Bishop Kelley | 2021 State OK committed to Army. The 2021 class appears to be deep, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Every Wednesday, we’ll spotlight five prospects that are still deciding their college futures.

. The Owasso standout plays sideline to sideline and has a motor that simply does not slow down. We were very impressed with Dye’s game when we watched him in person as Owasso beat Edmond Santa Fe. When it comes to what Dye is fantastic at, the first thing that jumps off the charts is his hitting ability. He can get from point A to point B in a hurry and always has bad intentions when he’s hitting an opponent. But his energy and motor separates him from other hard-hitting linebackers. He’s just as active in the fourth quarter as he is in the first.

that is the most dynamic player in all three phases of the game. Crews makes most of his impact on the offensive side of the ball as Carl Albert’s home run threat at wide receiver. However, he can also impact the game on defense and we’ve learned that he’s arguably the best special teams weapon in the state. He’s not a return guy, he’s a block guy. As in, he will block your field goal, punt, if he could block a kickoff he’d be great at that too. Crews has blocked so many kicks that he’s lost track at this point. But that’s not the only reason you recruit a player like Crews. You recruit him because he’s a complete playmaker in every area of the game. He’s a plug and play-type guy as you just try to land him and then can put him in a variety of spots.

– Wide Receiver – Booker T Washington
I believe we’ve written this before but whenever you’re talking about recruiting, an easy comparison to make is to the stock market. This prospect’s stock is sky-rocketing is an example that is given a lot. And that is absolutely the case here with Booker T Washington senior wide receiver

. Booker T Washington has one of the best wide receiver groups in the state right now. Leading the way is Teague, a 6’3 target that is hard to miss on the football field. In their week one win over Del City, Teague was unstoppable in the passing game. Granted most of his receptions came on quick passes, Teague is certainly a player that can be a big target down the field. Teague is off to a great start to his senior season. It’s just our opinion but you should be buying all the

stock right now because it’s going up fast.
James Burnett James Burnett 6'2" | LB Edmond Santa Fe | 2021 State OK – Linebacker – Edmond Santa Fe
Edmond Santa Fe linebacker James Burnett James Burnett 6'2" | LB Edmond Santa Fe | 2021 State OK has a big opportunity to step up in the next several weeks. Last week, in Santa Fe’s loss to Stillwater, Collin Oliver Collin Oliver 6'3" | LB Edmond Santa Fe | 2021 State OK , a defensive star for the Wolves, left the game with an injury. If that injury limits Oliver, that could open the door for Burnett to really showcase his abilities and become more of a leader of this defense. Don’t get us wrong, we would much rather see Burnett and Oliver together because that is a great duo, but for Burnett, this is an opportunity to show schools what he’s about. In a 2021 class that certainly has some standouts on the defensive side of the ball, Burnett is an underrated one. He has the ability to be one of the better linebackers in this 2021 class. We’re excited to see what he does over the next few weeks as Santa Fe looks to bounce back from a slow start.

Qwontrel Walker

. This week, Walker has the chance to eclipse 6,000 career rushing yards. He was a finalist for Player Of The Year last season and has been one of the more dynamic playmakers since his breakout freshman season. Walker is an undersized running back. That’s a fact. It shouldn’t matter. That’s also a fact. Walker has been the best running back in Oklahoma for the last two seasons. He’s always going up against defenses that are big and fast and it does not matter. Similar to Williams at Bixby, someone will take a shot on Walker and it’ll work out great.
