Pennsylvania football has kicked off in parts around the state and we are happy to deliver our first game balls of the season to players who stepped up to the plate and overachieved.
Gavin Daly – WR/QB, C/O 2021, LaSalle College High School
Stat Line: 6/8, 54yards, 1 TD

A modest stat line at first glance. However, Daly, a starting wideout for LaSalle, filled in at quarterback after a brutal injury for starting QB Alan Paturzo just before half time. Filling in for the second half, Daly orchestrated the offense and completed 6 of 8 passes, one screen to stellar prospect Samuel Brown Samuel Brown 6'3" | 200 lbs | RB Lasalle College | 2022 State PA , that went 25 yards for a touchdown. Daly led the team to a victory in the team’s home opener.
Nick Fleming – QB/MLB, 6’3″, 215lbs, C/O 2021, Norwin High School
Stat Line: 233 scrimmage yards (133 passing/100 rushing ) 2 rushing TDs / 3 total tackles, 1 TFL

Before scouts see this kid and drool don’t get your hopes up. He’s a baseball prospect who committed to Mount St. Mary’s this July. There’s a ton to like in Fleming’s game, so the disappointment is understandable. He’s got a wonderful frame and good vision when scanning the field and when tucking the ball and taking off. He would translate to the linebacker position at the next level but put up some impressive numbers in a close loss to Pittsburgh Central Catholic.
Terrance Glenn – QB/DE, 6’4″, 215lbs, C/O 2021, McKeesport HS
Stat Line: 139 rushing yards, 4 TDs

This kid, much like Fleming, has awesome size at the quarterback position. His stride sticks out immediately and prefers to run the ball rather than throw but understandably so. This kid is tough and runs with an attitude. He can get you the short-yardage stuff without question, but where he really impresses in his overall home-run hitting speed and open-field elusiveness. His 65-yard touchdown was a beauty, making a quick cut after a read-option handoff and exploding upfield outrunning the secondary with ease. We will keep our eye on this prospect going forward.
Christian Cacchione – RB/DB/ATH , 6’0″, 175lbs, C/O 2022, Berk Catholic HS
State Line: 9 att, 32yds / 3 rec, 119yds 1 TD
Hudl Link: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11139566/Christian-Cacchione
Cacchione, a junior prospect who does it all for Berks Catholic, was heavily involved in a high-scoring Week 2 affair against Northwestern Lehigh. Cacchione takes reps at RB, WR, and plays DB for Berks and he showed no struggle to produce this past weekend. Carrying the ball 9 times for 32 yards, Cacchione contributed to a rushing attack that totaled 350+ yards! Where he really made an impact was in the passing game, leading his team in receiving and scoring on a 37-yard TD.
Cadin Olsen: QB, 6’4″, 200lbs, C/O 2023, Armstrong HS
Stat Line: 20-33 396 passing yards, 3 TDs
Hudl Link: https://www.hudl.com/profile/12979799/Cadin-Olsen
Olsen may be unranked to start our short 2023 prospect list, but this won’t be for long. Olsen’s debut at QB for Armstrong HS was nothing short of spectacular. His stat line speaks for itself. 4 yards short of a 400-yard passing game and your first varsity start? There’s national hype already brewing with this kid and we hope to cover and watch a special career for years to come, one that started this past week.
