Pennsylvania football has kicked off in parts around the state and we are happy to deliver our second game balls of the season to players who stepped up to the plate and overachieved.
DeRon VanBibber – RB/DB, 6’0, 175lbs, C/O 2021, Thomas Jefferson HS
Stat Line: 32 carries 162 yards

An absolute stud RB who deserves a ton more attention and if he continues the run he’s on this fall, some national attention could fall in his lap. TJHS’s senior runningback has an excellent, muscular build and runs with a purpose. VanBibber is averaging 100+ yards from scrimmage to start the season for TJHS who are now 3-0 on the year.
Kyle Tipinski – RB, 6’3″ 220LBS, C/O 2022, North Catholic HS
Stat Line: 2 rushing TDs

An overlooked junior prospect who has scored five touchdowns in three games which leads the 3-0 team. Awesome size from this kid, he can run between the tackles and also has the speed to burn secondaries outside the numbers which isn’t a common occurrence for someone his size. He understands how to set up his runs and will see a jump in our rankings with continued development. He also stands out at defensive end and on the court for NCHS.
J.R. Burton – RB/DB, 5’9″ 175lbs, C/O 2022, North Allegheny HS
Stat Line: 13 carries, 108 yds, 1 TD

The Junior RB led the way for a NA in a huge upset of Pittsburgh Central Catholic, albeit a squad hurting at the quarterback position. He made the most of his carries and provided offense in a game that lacked explosion for both teams. Shows a nice quick twitch and good vision.
Jamaal Brown – RB/MLB, 5’11” 195lbs, C/O 2023, Upper St. Clair HS
Stat Line: 6 carries, 164 yards, 3 TDs

Here’s a 2023 prospect who’s current unranked status will undoubtedly change with our next rankings update. JB is legitimately one of the best athletes the 2023 class has to offer. He’s a joy to watch and has everything you want when thinking about playing at the next level. The strength, vision, awareness, and overall athleticism are all there with this kid. The offers are bound to pile up sooner rather than later.
Matt Bugbee – QB/K, 6’4″ 175lbs, C/O 2021, Nazareth HS
Stat Line: 7/20 for 121yds, 5 carries for 52yds, 1 rushing TD, 2/2 FGAs (19&41), 3/3 PATs

Not every day you see a QB/K prospect but Nazareth HS was guided to a win this past Friday lead by such a prospect. The kid is cold-blooded when toeing the ball. The previous week saw Bugbee drill a 33-yard game-winner and now sees two more go through with 41 and 19 yard makes. Bugbee’s a work in progress as a thrower but is an excellent athlete who can move really well in the open field and has awesome vision to match.
