Scrimmages were going around all weekend in Western PA, and we got a chance to go out and check a couple. Here are a couple of players that stuck out to us.
‘21 Ryan O’HairRyanO’Hair6'8" | OLSouth Fayette | 2021StatePA - OT - South Fayette: Easily the most improved player in the state. The 6’8 Senior gained 60 pounds this off season, and it was clear he put in work. He had the hardest job in the state this weekend; slow down Pitt Defensive End Commit Nahki JohnsonNahkiJohnson6'3" | DLWest Mifflin | 2021StatePA. He did that job great. He still doesn’t have quick feet and he is a little stiff, but his pass sets were great, he was physical, and when he got a hold of Johnson, he didn’t let him go. He had a great scrimmage. We had him graded as a D2/FCS player, but he very well may be a FBS player.
‘22 Deontae WilliamsDeontaeWilliams5'10" | ATHWoodland Hills | 2022StatePA - ATH - Woodland Hills: A player that made a huge jump from his Sophomore year to Junior year, Williams is a do-it-all QB for the Wolverines. He has a great arm and can throw on the run. His escapability in the pocket is outstanding
