Cadin Olsen – Armstrong – QB: The 6’4 205 QB Pocket passer has an unbelievable arm for a sophomore and puts the ball in spots where only his WR can get it. He drives the ball downfield and steps up in the pocket well to buy some time before delivering a strike. He is not as mobile as you want but with his size and pocket presence he has the potential to be a great one.
Ben Lane – Freeport – LB: the do-it-all sophomore scores a whole bunch of different ways for Freeport on offense, but we think he projects best at Linebacker for the next level. he has really good burst and change of direction. He has a well put together frame good speed. He hunts ball carriers and can sniff out things in the passing game. With a few more years of development, he could be an FBS player, but we can say he is safely a FCS player right now.
Rodney Gallagher Rodney Gallagher 6'0" | 160 lbs | ATH Laurel Highlands | 2023 State PA – Laurel Highlands – SAF/WR: Potentially the king of PA in the Class of 2023, he can do it all. Run, jump, cover, hit, score, etc. He steals the ball at DB and creates turnovers. On offense he will win just about every jump ball scenario you put him in. He has a general feel for the game that others do not, and will be one of the most recruited players in the entire class for both football and basketball. His speed and quickness translate well on both sides of the ball, but I cant imagine you have a playmaker of this caliber and not throw him on offense. He reminds a lot of people around here of Tyler Boyd.
Jamaal Brown – Upper St Clair – RB/LB: The sophomore burst onto the scene this week with 4 TDs on 6 carries. He probably is a linebacker at the next level but that is yet to be determined. He loves contact, has great instincts and football IQ, and makes plays. On offense he hits the hole hard and will get you the tough yards and has good enough speed to take it to the distance. On defense he is great at shedding blocks and finding the ball carrier. He will be a name you will continue to hear about for a long time.
