Brady Hessbrook Brady Hessbrook 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Ithaca | 2021 State MI | QB | Ithaca
Hessbrook had the performance of the week in a 56-7 victory of Saginaw Michigan Lutheran Seminary. The senior signal caller completed 14-of-18 passes for 361 yards and six touchdowns while rushing the ball five times for 42 yards and another score. Hessbrook is an athletic passer that holds double digit offers, which includes Wayne State, Northwood, Northern Michigan, Butler and Valparaiso.
Elijah Grainger Elijah Grainger 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Detroit Central | 2021 MI | QB | Detroit Central
Grainger is one of the most underrated athletes in the state and he showed his dangerous dual-threat skills Friday night. He completed 10-of-14 passes for 277 yards and tacked on 80 rushing yards while scoring five total touchdowns n a 49-0 win over Detroit Northwestern. His athleticism should allow him to transition to a position change if college coaches do not think he is a quarterback, but he should certainly be playing somewhere at the next level.
Zander Desentz | QB | South Lyon East
Desentz was an unknown coming into the season, but he has played really well so far and should be on college radars. He threw for a total of 313 yards and two touchdowns while also adding a rushing score. He showed some late heroics when he completed a pass for a two-point conversion for the 22-21 win over Walled Lake Northern. Dezentz has a decent arm and shows the athleticism to make plays with his legs. He should see some college interest soon.
Jackson Vance | RB | Seaholm
Vance was a key part of Seaholm’s 35-28 win over rival Birmingham Groves. The senior rushed the ball 24 times for 116 yards and three touchdowns on the night. He doesn’t have top tier speed, but he runs hard and could play on either side of the ball at the next level.
